Ummagumma is het vierde album van Pink Floyd. Het dubbelalbum bleek in al haar facetten de perfecte voorbode van datgene wat Pink Floyd gedurende de jaren 70 zo groot zou gaan maken. Ummagumma, uitgebracht in 1969, blijft voor mij altijd verbonden met het moment dat Pink Floyd tijdens het Kralingen Popfestival in de nacht van zondag op maandag (28 en 29 juni) Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun inzette. Het was zomer 1970. Nu, na lange tijd hoor ik het album weer in de geremasterde versie, uiteraard als onderdeel van het live-album samen met Astronomy Domine, Careful With That Axe Eugene en A Saucerful Of Secrets.
