We winden er geen doekjes om heen: binnen de moderne progressieve rock zijn de mannen van The Pineapple Thief grote meneren. Een boeiend gezelschap dat zich juist ook wel breder weet neer te zetten dan sec het progressieve idioom, toegankelijkheid is zeker geen vloek voor Bruce Soord, frontman van dienst en de andere mannen.  Een band gezegend met een vaste schare fans die mettertijd aan het groeien is. Hoe goed de band is, dat bewees de band niet alleen met het laatste studio album Versions Of The Truth, ook live album Nothing But The Truth bevestigde de reputatie van de mannen.
