17 jaar verdwenen uit de winkelrekken en het zicht van de grote media en daar is hij weer, José Manuel Tomás Arturo Chao Ortega, alias Manu Chao. Waar hij dan al die tijd wel was daar hebben we het raden naar. Enerzijds leeft hij sowieso al altijd wat mysterieus in het verborgene en zal je hem bovendien minder ontmoeten rondom de mega-tempels van de grote pop- en rocksterren. Hoewel hij die allemaal wel probleemloos kan vullen, draait hij veel liever de kleine wegen in naar die kleinere, betaalbare, meer intimistische festivals en zaaltjes waar hij, ritmisch zijn akoestische gitaar aanslaand, kan genieten van het moment en het contact met zijn...
