De voorgeschiedenis van Moss voert onder andere terug naar de band Nimbus, waarmee frontman Marien Dorleijn De Zeeuwse Belofte won, en de Grote Prijs van Nederland 1999, categorie singer-songwriter. Ook daar won Dorleijn. Hij maakte verder ook nog meters als extra gitarist bij Caesar. 2007 staat echter in het teken van Moss. De band tekende bij Excelsior en speelde al veel in den lande, waaronder in het voorprogramma bij Coparck, Bettie Serveert en Johan. Voeg daar de nodige oefenruimte-ervaring aan toe en je kunt niet anders dan concluderen dat Moss klaar is voor het grotere werk. De band bestaat naast Dorleijn uit Finn Kruyning op drums, Jasper Verhulst op bas...
