Door gebruik te maken van extreme symboliek en zeer nationalistische teksten maakt Jérôme Reuter het zichzelf niet gemakkelijk. De toon is geregeld erg hard en confronterend, terwijl Rome zich op andere momenten romantisch en sprookjesachtig opstelt. Juist als deze prachtige neofolk kant zich openbaart, maak je met een mooie gedragen voorstelling van de realistische droomwereld van Rome kennis. Als een naar zijn roots zoekende troubadour zwerft de Luxemburger Jérôme Reuter door Europa. Zijn vorige standplaats Italië is met zijn donkere politieke achtergrond de inspiratiebron voor Le Ceneri di Heliodoro. De Ierse pubs en het woeste landschap vormen de The Dublin Session basis, waar hij met plaatselijke muzikanten op zoek gaat...
