Solo heeft deze dame al met Like the Linen indruk gemaakt, waardoor ze door Laura Veirs uitgenodigd wordt om het publiek alvast warm te maken, voordat die als hoofdact het podium betreedt. Ook is ze in 2009 met Mirah Zeitlyn actief, wat een spannende indie popplaat oplevert. Ondertussen heeft ze er nu de afronding van de vijfde Thao & The Get Down Stay Down plaat er op zitten, die nog meer waanzin dan voorganger A Man Alive bezit.
