Eerder verraste de rootsrocker uit Philadelphia al met A Dark Rage, de met een mix van country, rock en Keltische roots opgebouwde derde langspeler. Scott McClatchy verhuist na een periode als frontman bij The Stands naar New York City en ontmoet er Scott Kempner van The Del -Lords en Dion. Ontmoetingen die in hechte samenwerkingen resulteren. McClatchy’s debuut Blue Moon Revisited komt in een productie van Kempner tot stand die eveneens op opvolger Redemption als gitarist figureert.
