Het verbaast niemand dat er achter de leden van het rondom Jamie Barrier gevormde The Pine Hill Haints gezelschap een fanatieke groep skaters schuilgaat. Ze transformeren die Live Fast Die Young straatmentaliteit perfect in dit blues country gezelschap. Het is net een tikkeltje rauwer, harder en sneller, waardoor ze zich op het meer punk georiënteerde rockabilly vlak bevinden. Door het geharde ruwe bolster, blanke pit karakter sluiten ze in cajun songs als Lone Star Kid muzikaal sterk bij de Ierse folkpunk aan. Sterker nog, bij Midnight Mayor is zelfs ska hoorbaar.
