Suuns, het afgestoten bastaardkindje van de Canadese postrock scene. Net wat minder eigenzinnig dan Godspeed You! Black Emperor, maar tevens uit het kunstzinnige broeinest afkomstig welke vanuit Montreal de wereld met die typerende dwarsheid stigmatiseert. Zelfs het toegankelijkere Arcade Fire maakt zich aan een overdosering van dit unieke geluid verbredende talent schuldig. Wat zit er toch in dat grondwater van de aan het Ottawa gelegen eiland die ook als ondergrondse stad op allerlei opzichten aan elkander verbonden is. Zo strak zit die complexe muziekwereld als een steeds verder in de knoop rakend netwerk verweven. Het pompende hart door het zwaar experimentele Godspeed You! Black Emperor gevormd, de aderlijke vertakkingen door...
