Minder en minder is de Australische rockband Tropical Fuck Storm ‘gewoon’ het nieuwe project van ex-The Drones-leden Fiona Kitschin en Gareth Liddiard, want steeds vaker neemt hij niet het voortouw op zang, maar  deelt juist het refrein met de dames en is een aantal keer zelfs helemaal niet aan het woord. Muzikaal maakt die vorige band zijn bluesy dramatiek meer en meer plaats voor rauwe funk, Industrial en zelfs een beetje hiphop. De reden waarom de vergelijking steeds weer op gebracht wordt is dan toch die herkenbaarheid. Wat vocalist en tekstschrijver Liddiard ook doet, zijn muzikale drang naar ongewone structuren en haast literaire vertellingen zullen nooit worden vergist met die...
