De muzikale wereld van de Poolse componiste Hania Rani blijft een ongrijpbare. Ze vindt met haar muziek de weg ergens tussen electronic, minimal, nieuw klassiek, ambient en pop. Op haar ambitieuze nieuwe album, de volle dubbelaar Ghosts, definieert ze haar sound weer verder. Groots. Het album bouwt voort op haar fascinerende instrumentale werk, nog elektronischer dan we al gewend waren, en haar gezongen tracks die haar debuut Esja (2019) en opvolger Home (2020) al zo kenmerkten. De vooruitgesnelde van prikkelende elektronica doortrokken single Hello was al een prachtig voorbeeld van zo’n gezongen track en ook het samen met Patrick Watson gezongen en fraai ingetogen Dancing with Ghosts was volledig raak....
