Nog eentje dat alhier nobel onbekend is gebleven, ook al had ze zichzelf in 2019 met haar Legacy! Legacy!-plaat nochtans al zeer goed op de muzikale kaart gezet: Jamila Woods uit Chicago. Een sociaal bewogen dichteres die van dan af fulltime als singer-songwriter aan de slag wilde. Die twee hoedanigheden voegt ze hier wonderwel samen in een album dat hoewel moeizaam tot stand kwam tijdens de lockdown. Een barre periode voor velen en vaak aanleiding geweest tot dieppersoonlijke reflectie. Het zoeken en niet zeker weten waar de weg loopt....
