Het Rotterdamse Dawn Brothers gaat op hun vierde album terug naar de energieke rootsmuziek van het debuut Stayin’ Out Late uit 2017. In de tussenliggende jaren hield de band zijn reputatie hoog, onder meer door een goed ontvangen samenwerking met DeWolff in 2022 – het album Double Cream – die de band extra naamsbekendheid opleverde. Het had even geduurd voordat de band in 2020 weer op een productief spoor kwam en stappen kon zetten richting een nieuwe plaat. Samen met ‘vijfde bandlid’ Paul Willemsen kwam Dawn Brothers echter weer in de juiste creatieve stemming. Er werd er lustig op los gejamd en bandleden wisselden van instrument.
