Na drie jaar ploeteren, aftasten en bijslijpen verschijnt in mei 2023 dan eindelijk Tracey Denim, de eersteling van bar italia. Met hun mix van psychedelische slaapkamer grunge, Sonic Youth noise en vooruit de nodige gruizige sound effecten, overstijgt dit drietal al snel hun underground positie. Zelf zijn ze niet zo gelukkig met die overdaad aan aandacht. Dat mysterieuze aura welke om het drietal hangt spreekt tevens boekdelen. In interviews wuiven ze de vergelijking met de gelijknamige Pulp song weg. Het is puur toeval dat de band exact dezelfde naam draagt.
