Tim Knol koestert een flinke liefde voor bluegrass- en countrymuziek. Dat is al erg lang zo en zijn relatie met de Blue Grass Boogiemen gaat al verder terug dan hun eerste gezamenlijke plaat uit 2019, Happy Hour. Zo deelde men met succes het podium op het Blue Highways Festival in 2018. Dit optreden verstevigde de toch al goede banden tussen Tim Knol en Boogiemen, die toen al meer dan vijfentwintig jaar actief waren, verder. Er volgde een clubtour, een theatertour en vele optredens op festivals en op radio- en tv. Het wat nasale stemgeluid dat Tim Knol bij zijn samenwerkingen met de Blue Grass Boogiemen laat horen past goed bij...
