Johnson houdt als instructeur op de Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago zijn ogen, en vooral zijn oren wijd open. Niet alleen voor de leerlingen ontstaat er een mogelijkheid om hun talent te ontwikkelen, ook hijzelf zal hier veel geleerd hebben.
