Eindelijk lijkt het erop dat de veelzijdige componist en multi-instrumentalist Eric D. Johnson de muzikale balans in zijn leven gevonden heeft. De frontman van het veredeld eenmansproject Fruit Bats verzamelt de juiste mensen om zich heen die de gehoopte diepgang en kleur aan The Pet Parade toevoegen, de achtste studioplaat van deze uit Chicago afkomstige gevormde topformatie.
