Overtuigde de voorganger van de via Colorado in Nashville verzeilde cowgirl uit de Bay Area al moeiteloos, de opvolger van On The Ranch is weerom sterk aan de countryraditie gelinkt maar klinkt nog straffer. Met haar sirenezang lonkt Emily Nenni onbeschaamd naar een plaatsje naast illustere vrouwelijke countryiconen. Hoewel ze aanvankelijk niet helemaal overtuigd was van haar zangtalent, ze zag voor zichzelf eerder toekomst in een bestaan als songwriter in Music City. Nenni komt opvallend dicht in de buurt bij van Patsy Cline enDolly Parton in de beginjaren ,evenals die country diva schrijft Emily zelf haar songs.
